Failure of Novatec hub D462SB

After just few miles of riding my hub D462 has fallen apart with ratchet broken into million pieces. Pawls on freehub seem damaged too so I can't believe what my eyes are seeing. Just a few stupid miles, that's a tragedy indeed. Have you mates seen this happen to any other brand of hub before? Could this happen to a new Hope hub or is it just novatec so bad? I'm so disappointed.

Same thing happened to me.

Same thing happened to me. Twice. Looks like if the temperature goes near zero celsius the alloy freehub bodies disintegrate immediately. I'm going to test the steel body if it works longer than 40km.
